Our Debate Mastery Program focuses exclusively on Lincoln-Douglas debate, cultivating critical thinking, persuasive speaking, and logical reasoning skills in students from 7th to 12th grade. This comprehensive program dives deep into the intricacies of LD debate, teaching students to research effectively, construct compelling philosophical arguments, anticipate objections, and deliver their points with confidence and poise. Through structured lessons, practice debates, and personalized evaluations, participants develop the ability to analyze complex ethical issues, think on their feet, and articulate their ideas clearly and persuasively. Our program not only prepares students for competitive success in LD tournaments but also equips them with invaluable skills for academic and professional life.

The Competitive Debaters program is a 12-week intensive designed for graduates of our Budding Debaters course. This program focuses on applying and refining skills through regular practice debates and peer feedback. Participants will engage with at least four past Lincoln-Douglas resolutions, preparing and presenting both affirmative and negative cases. In this supportive peer group, students alternate between debating and observing, providing constructive feedback to one another. Experienced coaches oversee sessions, offering targeted advice and evaluation. This structured practice environment allows debaters to sharpen their argumentation, improve their quick thinking, and adapt to various opponent styles. By consistently engaging with diverse topics and perspectives, students elevate their debate prowess and prepare for success in real tournaments.
